After working in finance for more than a decade, an after-hours hobby grew into a high-end bath and body product business. Owning a business served as a crash course in product development, supply chain management, and business operations. However, to succeed in a competitive market, I couldn’t solely rely on mastery of the operations side of business for success. I had to master marketing and relationship management with both customers and other businesses, so I set out to learn how to effectively market through social media, email campaigns, use of SEO, paid digital, and how to use all of these tools to foster customer engagement.
Leveraging my knowledge of both operational and marketing functions led to Bathe Happy LLC’s successful 12 year run.
As the covid-19 pandemic dug its claws into the world and the much of the population struggled to put food on the table, it became evident to me that selling high end, boutique quality bath and body products no longer aligned with my values.
That’s when I began working for Indeed Flex, and since then, I’ve put my heart and soul behind the noble cause of helping people get jobs. Combining my years of experience across different sectors has uniquely positioned me to to adapt, grow, achieve success, and thrive no matter the role.
I am living proof that working hard, showing up authentically, an appetite for knowledge, and a heart for others is a recipe for shared success. Over time, I’ve learned that whether you’re an individual person or a company, brand boils down to how you treat people. And that matters.
